- KadochDesign enjoys working and designing with natural stone and concrete as well as manufactured blocks as these materials convey a timeless strength to any project and yet are not static elements as each piece conveys its own nature and texture. Masonry units provide a high level of durability to weather and to human abuse within interior environments. Masonry also provides a passive solar heat sink as its natural mass can be used to store heat be it from solar gain or from hydronic heating systems. Natural stone has particular appeal as each type conveys a strong sense of regional character that can be used locally or abroad for a wide array of design elements. The endless patterning and design possibilities are of particular interest to us.
