PEDESTRIAN BRIDGE - St. Paul, MN, 2002
This Bridge was designed for a competition held by the City of St. Paul, MN as a way to connect the upper neighborhoods along the high bluffs of the Mississippi River with the expansion of Saint Paul's downtown directly on the banks of the Mississippi River below. The Idea was to create a series of handicap accessible switch backs where people could stop and enjoy the river valley and views of the downtown along the way. The design uses steel tube and fabric to create a structure that provides for an exciting and colorful space as people traverse through the air.
